The G-Plasticoat Patent is up for Licensing (Lease) or Sale
Our Original Plasticoat product is a low viscosity formulation that cures to a clear and colorless final film. It is anti-mold and protects the surface to which it is applied from water damage, oxidation, dry rot, and bleaching. It will not yellow, crack, peel or blister at temperatures up to 300o F. It partially to fully restores the color and luster on faded and worn substrates. The extent of restoration depends on the condition of the substrate at the time it is treated. Original Plasticoat is a versatile product, and is suitable on most porous and/or textured surfaces, including, but not limited to:
Wood, Leather, Vinyl, Grout, Painted Surfaces, Concrete, Stone, Brick, Stucco, etc...
Building on our Original Plasticoat formulation, we now offer a full line of stain products. Our stains actually offer four performance features in one application; stain, sealant, substrate UV protection, and anti-mold. This product line has been specifically formulated for deep substrate penetration on the first coat in order to achieve optimal sealing and anti-mold protection. Two coats produce a satin-to-gloss final appearance on most substrates. Similar to Original Plasticoat, this product also cures quickly; typically within 10 to 30 minutes, depending on substrate porosity, temperature, and humidity at the time of application. On high traffic areas, such as decks, when the stain begins to wear, simply reapply. As long as the surface is clean and dry, no other surface preparation is necessary. Suitable on most types of hard and soft woods.
Decks, fences, arbors, wood-sided homes, etc.
This high viscosity formulation also cures to a clear and colorless final film. It is recommended for smooth textured, non-porous surfaces on which the original formula tends to bead. Like the original formula, it is anti-mold, it protects the surface to which it is applied from water damage, oxidation, dry rot, and bleaching, and it partially to fully restores the color and luster on faded and worn substrates. It will not yellow, crack, peel or blister at temperatures up to 300o F. It is sprayable. Typical substrates on which this composition is preferred include, but are not limited to:
Smooth Metal Surfaces, Certain Plastics & Rubbers, New Lacquered and Varnished Surfaces, etc...
We now offer a full line of latex-based paint products that incorporate all of the performance benefits of Original Plasticoat. All of our paint products are anti-mold. They will not yellow, crack, peel or blister at temperatures up to 300o F. They are also anti-fade and anti-chalk, so offer superior performance on exterior applications where sun-bleaching is a factor. High-gloss, satin and matte finish paints are available. A color chart will be available soon.
Marine Formula: We anticipate offering marine formulations soon. These products will be designed for use on substrates that are submerged for extended periods of time. They will be designed to seal the substrate from water damage, and will also be specifically formulated to inhibit urchin infestations such as barnacles and algae growth. Both clear-coat product(s) and a line of marine paints are anticipated. The clear-coat products will also protect new painted and fiberglass surfaces against color and luster fade, and partially to fully restore the color and luster on older, faded painted and fiberglass substrates. For use on all types of water-craft, including wood, fiberglass and metal hulled boats. Note: These products will be more effective on new structural materials to be used for dock and wharf construction, than on thoroughly cleaned and dried older structural members on which significant water degradation may already exist.
We also offer all of our products in a food-grade quality for use on food preparation surfaces.
