Original Plasticoat and Thickened protect, enhance the colors, and provide an aesthetically pleasing luster on new and older picture frames, latex and oil-based paintings, and painted, lacquered, and bare wooden handcrafted items.  Plasticoat Stain and Plasticoat Paint may also be used on picture frames and many craft items.

Original Plasticoat and Thickened Plasticoat are effective sealants for electrical components, circuit boards, wiring, automobile battery terminals, etc. that may be exposed to moisture and/or corrosive environments.  Once the solvents have evaporated and the coating has completely cured, it is nonconductive.

Original Plasticoat and Thickened Plasticoat enhance the color and luster, protect, and waterproof hardbound book covers.  Recommended uses include, but are not limited to, new or used: high school and university textbooks, encyclopedia sets, dictionaries, Bibles, etc.  The extent to which an older, faded book cover is restored will depend on its condition at the time it is treated.

Original Plasticoat, Thickened Plasticoat and Plasticoat Stain may also be used as waterproofing sealants for canvas and nylon fabrics because they are flexible, and will not crack, chip, peel, or yellow with age.  Applications include, but are not limited to: tents, pop-up camper canopies, awnings, storage covers, etc.  Also, when these items are rolled up and/or placed in storage, the coating will inhibit mold and mildew growth.

Residual concrete that has partially to fully set on tools, containers, and vehicles (Automotive Plasticoat will be available soon) is much easier to clean off when the affected surface has first been treated with G-Plasticoat.  Instead of having to use a mild muriatic acid solution to chemically treat the stains, usually all that is required is spraying with a high pressure hose.
